The folks involved in the Redwing, Glad, and New Breed saga have occasionally gotten together since the break-up. Below, are some of these reunion photos.

The members of the Contenders/New Breed/Glad got together and played a show at their alma mater, Encina High School. This show took place in 1990 at the 25-year class reunion for the class of 1965. All four New Breed/Glad members were from this class.

Can you beleive we're already into the 2000s? Remember when the year 2000 seemed like a lifetime away? Remember when you used to sit back and think, "How old will I be in the year 2000?"

Back in the 60s, the guys in the band made an agreement. Thirty-two years prior, the guys made a pact that they would meet at the steps of the state capitol at midnight on New Years Eve of 2000. "The alternative site," Ron explained, "Was to be the grave of whoever had died." Fortunately, they all made it!

The picture above is, indeed, the follow-through on that pact. Granted, they didn't meet at the state-capital, and, in actuality, the reunion took place during the last week in November, 1999. So they were a month early.

Tom and George still are entertainers, while Ron doesn't play out too often these days. Tom is also a guitar instructor, while Ron and George are in business. Tim , as you likely know, is with the Eagles.

When the Eagles reunited in 1994, so did the New Breed. Here they are, actually in January 1995, backstage at an Eagles show.

Tom Phillips is second from the left, with the red & black shirt, followed by Tim Schmit and Ron Floegel. George Hullin is on the far right.

Class reunion time again! Has it been 10 years since the last reunion? Has it been 35 years since high school? Once again, the band will play...

And if you're going to play, you've got to rehearse. And that's what is happening here. The night before the class reunion, in August of 2000, the guys got together to run though a few tunes. Rehearsing in the living room, is Tom Phillips, Ron Floegel, and Tim Schmit.

Same night as above, rehearsing for the reunion, August 2000.

Show time! At the class reunion in August 2000. Note the sign above; it says, "Encina Class of 65."

Left to right are: Tom Phillips, Ron Floegel, and Tim Schmit. George Hullin is back behind the drums. Drummers always get stuck in the back and out of the photo! I am a drummer myself, so I know!

At the 2000 reunion, not only did the New Breed reunite, but so did Redwing! Obviously, that's Tim Schmit on the right. But who's the guy on the left?

It's Andy Samuels from Redwing...

Andy sat in with the band on guitar. Andy was not from Encina high, but he made it on down for the reunion.

Get that drummer out front so we can see him! I have to do right by my fellow drummer... George Hullin with Tim Schmit at the 2000 reunion.
